When you arrive at Domaine Tourbillon in Lagnes, there is one thing you are unlikely to miss: our wall of wine barrels, visible from the road and incorporated into the modern architecture of the building.

It is, in a way, our first introduction to you, even before you walk through the door.

We wanted our tasting room to reflect who we are: contemporary and welcoming, but still deeply connected to wine and to our region. The barrels, bottles, works of art and the atmosphere of the place all come together in a space where we enjoy taking the time to welcome visitors.

And above all, we enjoy sharing our wines.

Wine tasting is always part of the experience

Whenever you visit our tasting room, we systematically offer you the opportunity to taste our wines.

And the tasting is free of charge.

For us, this is essential. We do not want you to choose a bottle simply because you like the label or recognise the name of an appellation. We would much rather let you taste, talk with you and help you discover what genuinely suits your palate.

We offer a tasting of around twelve wines from the Rhône Valley, covering a wide variety of styles.

Red, white, rosé and sparkling wines, fruity wines, more structured wines, generous or more complex styles: we like having enough variety to give everyone the chance to find something they enjoy.

Our goal is not for everyone to leave with the same wine.

Our goal is for everyone to leave with a wine they genuinely like.

Twelve wines to find your favourite

The tasting gives you the opportunity to discover some of the appellations that have made the southern Rhône Valley famous, including Gigondas and Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

But we also enjoy going beyond the best-known names and introducing visitors to the diversity of our own wines.

You may arrive thinking that you are looking for a Châteauneuf-du-Pape and discover that Gigondas is actually more to your taste. Someone else may realise that white wine is more their style. Another visitor may fall in love with a rosé or one of our sparkling wines.

That is exactly why we offer a tasting.

Wine is a matter of taste, and taste is personal.

We can explain the grape varieties, terroirs, winemaking and history behind our cuvées, but above all, we want to know what you like.

Do you enjoy powerful wines? We can show you some.

Prefer something softer and fruitier? We have options for you too.

Looking for a wine for an aperitif, a barbecue, a special dinner or simply a bottle to share with friends? We can suggest several possibilities.

And it all starts with a glass.

Wines at different price points

We also want the experience to remain simple and accessible.

The tasting is free, and our wines are offered at different price points so that discovering our work remains accessible to as many people as possible.

For us, wine should not be reserved for specialists or special occasions.

A good bottle can be enjoyed with a family meal, an impromptu aperitif, dinner with friends or simply a moment you want to make last a little longer.

We want everyone to be able to discover our wines at their own pace and find a bottle that suits both their taste and their budget.

Discovering our region beyond wine

Our desire to share our region goes beyond our own bottles.

At Domaine Tourbillon, we also enjoy highlighting local craftsmanship and products made around us. This is particularly visible during some of the events we organise at the estate, such as our Christmas market, when we bring together local artisans and producers selected for the quality of their work.

It is another way for us to showcase the region and create a genuine moment of discovery around local craftsmanship.

We like working with artisans and producers whose products we personally appreciate. The idea is not to fill the shelves with endless references, but to focus on quality and on discoveries that feel meaningful.

During our Christmas market, for example, Domaine Tourbillon becomes, for a weekend, a place where visitors can taste our wines, meet local artisans, discover regional food products and find something special to share or give as a gift.

It is ultimately part of the same philosophy we have throughout the year: sharing our region with simplicity, generosity and curiosity.

Art, architecture and wine

From the road, the barrel wall immediately catches the eye. It was deliberately designed as part of the contemporary architecture of the building, while still reminding visitors that behind the modern setting is, above all, a wine estate.

Inside, works of art add another dimension to the tasting room.

We enjoy the combination of art, architecture and wine. It creates an atmosphere that feels different from a traditional wine cellar.

The barrels tell the story of the work and the time behind the wines.

The artworks offer another way of looking at the place.

And the bottles ultimately allow you to taste the result.

A wine tasting between L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and Gordes

Domaine Tourbillon is located in Lagnes, between L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and Gordes, in the heart of the Vaucluse and on the edge of the Luberon.

This makes our tasting room an easy stop for visitors exploring the area.

After exploring L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, before heading towards Gordes, after visiting Fontaine-de-Vaucluse or during a day discovering the villages of the Luberon, a visit to Domaine Tourbillon can easily become part of your itinerary.

And because we offer a free tasting to our visitors, you do not need to know in advance which bottle you want to buy.

You can simply come and see us.

We will welcome you, introduce you to our wines and take the time to talk with you.

Gigondas, Châteauneuf-du-Pape and the diversity of the Rhône Valley

Our location in the Vaucluse gives us a wonderful opportunity to introduce visitors to some of the Rhône Valley's most famous appellations.

Gigondas and Châteauneuf-du-Pape naturally have a special place in our tasting.

But they are only part of the journey.

Through our selection of around twelve wines, we want to showcase the diversity of styles, terroirs and expressions found throughout the Rhône Valley.

This is also what allows everyone to find their own favourite.

Come as you are

You do not need to be a wine expert to visit Domaine Tourbillon.

You can be passionate about wine, a knowledgeable enthusiast, a complete beginner or simply curious.

You may come to buy a bottle, find a gift, discover the wines of the region or simply take a break during a day exploring the Luberon.

We will always offer you a tasting.

It is free, our wines are available at different price points, and we take the time to advise you without pushing you towards a particular bottle.

And if, at the end of the tasting, you leave with a bottle, a few local discoveries and, above all, the desire to share them, then we will have achieved what we set out to do.

To share our wines, but also a little piece of our region.

Domaine Tourbillon welcomes you in Lagnes, between L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and Gordes, for a free tasting of around twelve Rhône Valley wines, including Gigondas, Châteauneuf-du-Pape and our other cuvées.
